Looking forward to the AGI piece, Jurgen! I'm slowly circling around writing about that, but I'm not ready yet, at least not directly. Will you define it mainly as "able to do any intellectual task a human can do just as well or better than a human", or something similar?

It’s a challenging topic for sure! I will try to approach it from more than one perspective. I don’t see much value in talking about how I personally define it, but would much rather like to show which definitions are being used and how these change depending on who you talk to and why.

I like it. I tried doing a broad definition of types of AI, and found myself in a similar situation: it's all about definitions. I approached it from a very generalist perspective (30,000 feet): https://goatfury.substack.com/p/lets-talk-about-types-of-ai

Not sure if this helps with ideas, but I found it too "small world" not to share.
